Patrick Bateman had time for skincare

Hey even Patrick Bateman had time for skincare,  even with all the slaying and murdering ladies. Why is it some men don't make it a priority? Is it because they think men's aging is noble and happens naturally with a rugged-ness. I'll tell you, even the most handsome older gent probably had some sort of skincare routine. No one wants to look at a leathery wrinkle face. 

I do think men are trepedous of skincare because they think there's femininity to it. Again back to American Psycho. Patrick starts his day off explaining his daily routine, which this snippet from the movie doesn't even touch the pages long description in the novel. But here goes:

“I live in the American Gardens Building on W. 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.”

Now as much as that seems like alot it's definitely able to be done in under 10 minutes. Care for your face. It's the only one you'll get. Unless tragedy befalls you and you need one of them transplants, which still amazes me, it's actually a viable option for people... medical science is incredible.  

Plus imagine how great it'll feel to have skin that isn't dry and cracking or oily and breaking out. Thank goodness my husband uses great skincare... makes it easier to kiss him. 😂💋 So get on your man or guys do you, but help make that transition from rugged/rough to handsome and clean.
